BACKGROUND

The original Mataura Licensing Trust wholesale Outlet was in Fairfield Street, Gore. It was moved to the corner of Trafford Street and Hokonui Drive in 1976 . A complete new premises encompassing a state of the art , purpose built Liquorland , and a Head Office complex on the upper floor was opened on 3 August 2004 .

BACKGROUND

This liquor retail outlet was originally called the Royal Wine Cellar. The business was purchased in 1994 by the Trust. It was renamed 'Liquor Vault' in November 2000. The actual building was acquired in 2001.

BACKGROUND

In 2000 the Mataura Licensing Trust warehouse was expanded and renamed 'Central Distribution'. The extra 700 square metres of storage, plus new transport equipment have allowed us to offer an additional service to liquor retailers throughout Southland and Otago.
